Mama Africa, the new documentary by Finnish director Mika Kaurismäki, has launched the 19th Annual African Film Festival in New York.

This video below would probably have been taken down by now if the proposed #SOPA law had passed. But since #SOPA’s not here yet: it is a recording (and an edited-down version) of the 2011 documentary by Finnish director Mika Kaurismäki about the life of Miriam Makeba.
