Your chance to visit Guinea Bissau

I'm reprinting a post which appeared in the latest WAVS Newsletter. Chris makes several trips over to Guinea Bissau each year. Here's a great opportunity for anyone who might be thinking of making the trip. He also provides some very helpful information in the "Guinea Bissau Travel Guide" (see link below)

Your chance to visit Guinea-Bissau
I'M HEADING BACK TO GUINEA-BISSAU in November for a three-month trip and am looking forward to hosting visitors for two 2-week trips. If you are interested in visiting Guinea-Bissau, below is some basic information about these trips. If you'd like to know more, click here.

- There will be two trips: The first trip is scheduled for the first two weeks of December 2012; the second trip is scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January 2013.

- There will be 3 to 6 visitors on each trip.

- Estimated cost: $2,500 to $3,000 per person.

During these trips, you'll get a chance to visit a few great place in West Africa (including Dakar, the so-called "Paris of West Africa" and Cap-Skirring, a beach resort on the Senegalese coast), as well as spend eight days in Canchungo, where the WAVS school is located, and two days in the country's capital, Bissau. You'll be able to develop friendships with some of our teachers and students and help the school by encouraging its teachers and leaders -- and help out by teaching the English class for a few days.

Feel free to reply to this email if you have any questions! Click here for more information.
