Trayvon Martin - Who's the victim?

"Even in death, they are still disrespecting my son," said Tracy Martin, "and I feel that is a shame."

I agree, and I'm sorry but there is some crazy sh*t going on here. I gotta call a spade a spade.

How does the tragedy and senseless killing of a 17yr old teen all of a sudden turn into a story about the violent assault on George Zimmerman?

Now the story goes - Zimmerman is on his way to the grocery store when he spotted Trayvon walking through his gated community. The two exchanged words and then suddenly Trayvon pushed Zimmerman to the ground, got on top of him and punched him in the nose (and I guess he was able to do all this while he was talking on his cell phone and keep in mind that George had a gun). This new spin was reported in the Orlando Sentinel. Trayvon is now the aggressor who attacked Zimmerman. According to the Sentinel, George Zimmerman suffered a broken and bloody nose and has grass stains on his back to prove it. So he had to shoot Trayvon in self defense.

This story is IN-sane, but it doesn't stop there. The Sanford police are getting so much heat due to their incompetence that they have now started to leak ridiculous stories about Trayvon.  Stories such as, Trayvon being suspended from school at the time of the assault for having an empty bag which "may have contained marijuana" at some point in the past. OK, and... so?

Geraldo went on FOX News to blame the "hoodie" for Trayvon's death. (Make note of the dress code Black teens, DO NOT wear red or blue (gang colors), no saggy pants and no hoodies). It's a proven fact that Gerlado is a lunatic (have we forgotten the 2hrs we sat while we waited for him to open Al Capone's vault? When it was finally opened there was nothing there but a couple of empty bottles and some dirt)

Even the Republican traveling clown show is weighing in. Instead of offering condolences to the family, their talking points are to condemn President Obama's statement "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin".
>Loser Newt says, "the president's statement is disgraceful".
I say, not as disgraceful as all those ethics violations against you Newt.
> Rick Santorum was on a radio program a short time ago. apparently he criticized President Obama for bringing race into the Trayvon case when it wasn't the President who brought race in. He said "It sounds like a heinous act. To introduce this type of rhetoric that is clearly meant to bring up these very serious issues is out of line for this president. It is a very, very unfortunate that he seizes upon this horrific thing where families are suffering and inject this type of divisive rhetoric. That to me is one of the disappointing parts of what this president has brought to the table."
What? Rick get a brain man!

Craig Sonner, who is a "friend" of Zimmerman's and now acting as his attorney, has been making the rounds to any show that will have him -- peddling a cart full of BS. During the "soft" interviews he has done thus far, he hasn't been asked one single pertinent question, like
- where are the photos supporting the broken nose? - did Zimmerman go for medical attention? - where are the photos of the grass stains on the back of Zimmerman's shirt? and/ or where are photos of the garment?

Oh and BTW let's talk a little bit about Zimmerman's history of domestic violence. Oops, did someone forget to put that in the article? Well I'll tell you about it. In 2007 a woman (allegedly his girlfriend) filed a petition of injunction against Zimmerman for domestic violence and got a restraining order against him. He was involved in a 2nd incident which ended in him pushing a law enforcement officer.

Craig Sonner was scheduled to appear on Lawrence O'Donnell's "The Last Word" tonight but he got cold feet at the last minute and bolted from the set. All that was left was the empty chair. It is reported that Lawrence planned to ask him all the tough questions.

Guess he couldn't take it. So in this case, I get the last word!
